I love onigiri. The last time I had a real one was in San Francisco in Japan Town **nostalgia**. When I make onigiri it's... quite unpleasant.

btw...key to onigiri(you probably know this but as a foodie I feel the urge to share what little I know about homemade versions of your fav things)- add some suger, viniger and salt to your rice right after its made <3 and get really good omeboshi (pickled plum) with leaves in it (and add the leaves IN the ball)
